Welcome to Jing Qi Tong Traditional Chinese Medicine

A good flow of balanced energy throughout the body is central to the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) view of health.

The name Jing Qi Tong means 'central / balanced energy place'.

It signifies "the place where a person can, through TCM, obtain centrally balanced energy".

TCM has three main branches, which are Herbs, Acupuncture, and T'ui Na'ar (remedial massage).

Herbs have a long history in Chinese culture. They balance the five elements (metal, wood, water, fire & earth) and the yin and yang of the body.

Acupuncture has also been used in China for centuries and continues to be used for treatment and prevention of most ailments. Acupuncture is seldom used on its own, and therefore, it is right to say that Herbs and Acupuncture are equally important as each other.

TCM is based on the fundamental idea that "PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE!" Thus, the WELL MAN & WELL WOMAN clinics are for people who believe in building their health up rather than finding a cure when they are ill.
